Lot #308 - EMD Builder's Plate from Boston & Maine SW-9 #1230
General Motors EMD (Electro Motive
Division) used this "hot dog" style builder's plate before they
went to the long rectangles. This plate is from Boston & Maine SW-9
#1230. This is a standard 15" by 4 1/4" size. It has been cleaned
to a high polish. You can see remnants of the blue and red original paint is
some crevices. Very Good condition.
