Lot #176 - Boston & Maine - last style Hollow Barrel Switch key used

 

ky27 Railroad Boston & Maine   Size 2" Type Adlake Condition Excellent Boston & Maine Switch key. This is the last hollow barrel design used by the B&M. This key will trip the countless stamped steel locks out there. For some reason this style of key is hard to find. You can trip over the number of locks out there but not the keys. The earlier switch keys (even divisional ones) are easier to find than this later key with a fat barrel. It has a 1950's ADLAKE hallmark on the reverse.
