Lot #162 - Diesel Locomotive corner mount running lights

 

mi34 Railroad EMD?   Size 4" diameter Type sheet metal  Condition Good An unusual pair of corner mount running lights from a Diesel Locomotive. Probably EMD usage. These were built to be mounted on an angle on the front top corner of a locomotive. They mounting base measures 7 1/2" by 5 1/2". They have 4" lenses. They have 6 hole mounts and are made of light sheet metal. The paint is an archeologists dream. One has baby blue on the interior. They both show box car or darker red over yellow. Not sure what road these would be from but would look good on a VW Beetle's fenders. I think the mounting sheet metal is flexible. The paint is peeling and the gaskets are crumbling.
