Lot #22 - 8 Brass Baggage Tags from the Hoosac Tunnel & Wilmington Railroad

 

mi26 Railroad Hoosac Tunnel & Wilmington   Size vary Type shell tags Condition vary - Good 8 brass baggage tags from the Massachusetts and Vermont based Hoosac Tunnel & Wilmington Railroad. These shell tags have not been cleaned. They all have a slot so that a cardstock routing slip could be inserted. Some need straightening. Some have old leather strap remnants attached. Some of the Readsboro tags have John Robbins Manufacturing hallmarks. Included are:  1-4) Whitington 2 3/4" by 2 1/8"  5-8) Readsboro 3" by 2"  Condition varies - see pictures. If you purchase these and you want restoration help, please ask and I will put you onto somebody who cleans Baggage Tags.
