la04 Railroad Philadelphia Baltimore & Washington   Size 5 3/8" #39 size globe Type Keystone Casey - wick raiser, flashed Extended Base globe Condition Frame - Paint, Globe - Excellent Philadelphia Baltimore & Washington Keystone "Casey" Lantern. What a fine red extended base globe! The lantern frame was painted silver some time ago. You can see where surface rust wants to push through the old paint. The frame is pretty standard. The globe is red flashed (see the pic that shows just clear on the very bottom. Older red globes had a thin coating of red applied to the inside because red glass was expensive to manufacture.
