Lot #402 - Maine Central "Kennebec" China Coffee Cup
Maine Central Railroad China Coffee Cup
in the "Kennebec" Pattern - A harder to find piece in Kennebec. No
saucer is included. This is NOT a common demi cup. The base diameter of your
saucer opening should be 2 1/4". It stands 2 5/8" tall. The MEC
logo is crisp. I bought this from Stanley Robert's family when he passed
away years ago. If memory serves me correctly, Stan had the handle of this
piece repaired (was it cracked?). It's almost scary because you can't tell
at all. It is a Syracuse (Onondaga Pottery Co) made piece with a date code
of "L-5". Very Good condition and I think with a repair.
