Lot #103 - Southern Railway - Lima Builder's Plate #774
Lima Builder's Plate from a Southern
Railway Switcher. This is a curved plate (to fit snug on a boiler). It
measures 15 7/8" by 9 1/4". It has a flat, curved back. This was
Lima #7098. It is clearly marked July of 1926. All of the plates and the
number board are from the William B. Young estate. Bill stopped collecting
hardware over 40 years ago. All of the builder plates were researched and
authenticated by Ron Muldowney at his house in New Jersey. This plate has
nice old crud and age. It's the real deal.
