arl35 Railroad New York Central Size 5" by 2 1/2" Condition Good + From the massive New York Central hardware collection that we have been selling for the last 3 auctions - 7 different Brass Passenger Revenue Audit tags from the New York Central Railroad. Most measure 5" by 2 1/2". They are thick, heavy brass. They weight in at about 7 1/2 oz each. That means that 2 weigh almost a pound. These tags were used on canvas mail bags to transport passenger revenue information so that audits could be performed at centralized locations. All of these tags are from one collection.
