Lot #476 - Eastern RR Tapered Switch Key by Sherburne
For some reason the lettering was once
scratched. The key itself is nice. It has a nice tapered barrel and it has
an "S" at 6:00. This key bit was used until the Boston & Maine
did away with the Eastern & Western Divisions after WWI. This key
pre-dates the B&M takeover of the Eastern RR in 1885. Fair condition
with nice wear.
