arl77 Railroad New York Central  Size standard  Condition excellent This is a group of 3 brass dater machine dies from Upstate New York. They vary a bit in condition and they have not been cleaned. The last picture is a digital manipulation. Because the dies read backwards, it is awkward to read them. This group includes: (1) No. Tonawanda #5 (2) Niagara Union Station #5  (3) Exchange Street, Buffalo #2  Dater dies were used in machines to validate tickets. The dater machines require a die.
