Lot #440 - 3 Dater Dies 125th Street NY

 

arl57 Railroad New York Central  Size standard  Condition excellent This is a group of 3 brass dater machine dies from the 125th Street Union Station in New York City. They vary a bit in condition and they have not been cleaned. The last picture is a digital manipulation. Because the dies read backwards, it is awkward to read them. This group includes: (1) #15 with stars on the sides  (2) #17 with stars on the sides  (3) #3 nickel plated - unused Dater dies were used in machines to validate tickets.
