arl91 Railroad New York Central  Size 1 1/2" x 1 1/8"  Condition Good - one chip at 6:00 This is a small clip-on style badge worn by Train Auditors when they performed on-board duties. They badge is just like all other New York Central enameled hat badges in design. Each Auditor badge also has a serial number on the reverse for record keeping purposes. This badge is #25 and it has an Iridium hallmark on the clasp. You will see at least 100 hat badges for every Auditor badge that you will ever see. This badge has a chip on the base.
