Lot #353 - Rutland Railroad "Kero" Lantern
The frame is an Adlake Kero model with a
date code of 3-46 which stands for 3rd quarter of 1946. The lid is clearly
stamped RUTLAND RY in the small Adlake lettering. The globe is a red 3"
Kopp (K in a circle) that could be new or old. The collection this lantern
came from did not have any obvious new/replacement globes in it. The frame
was painted a muted silver/gray color. Some of the paint has been removed.
The bottom had its condensation hole enlarged by hand. This is a complete
lantern. Good to Fair condition.
