Lot #261 - Missouri Kansas & Texas Lines Canvas and Leather "Messenger" bag
This is a heavy duty messenger bag used
on the MK&T. It has a leather top with steel guides for the leather
strap. The handle in nice leather. The base is heavy canvas. There is a
locking hasp and an old lock attached. The Corbin lock is not marked for the
MKT. There is an address label for: W. N. Deramus, President MKT Lines, St
Louis, MO This is in the address panel on the
reverse side. There is also a "No 48" stenciled on the back side.
The lock is not marked. There is no key. The leather needs a good cleaning
but it's a pretty neat operations piece. Good condition.
