Lot #251 - CCC & St L (Big Four) Adams & Westlake Bellbottom tall globe lantern
This CCC&StL bellbottom has an Adams
& Westlake "Adams" top that has a non-locking bail, soft tab
rivet in top for globe retainer spring. The base is a "Reliable"
style bellbottom. Note the intake hole pattern and the bell base has the
Reliable "sun burst" pattern. The metal has been nicely cleaned.
The globe is an extended base with a square end panel with "CCC&StL"
in standard fancy style. The letters on the globe have been heavily
scratched or ground down. I tried to show this in the pictures. The globe
does not want to clear the top ring in the frame, so I left it in rather
than force it and risk breaking it. Good condition.
