Lot #232 - New York Ontario & Western Ry CONDUCTOR hat badge
This badge is one of several from a nice
collection of O&W badges. It has the S. M. Spencer hallmark on the
reverse. It has a thin back similar to badges from the American Railway
Supply Co. the correct "ghosting" on the reverse from the stamping
press. This is the one non- nickel plated O&W hat badge occupation
known. Somebody crudely scratched "1927" on the back twice. Pretty
neat. We have several O&W badges in this auction. Excellent condition.
