Lot #160 - NYC Dater Die - Big Moose, NY

arl64 Railroad New York Central  Size standard  Condition vg /excellent The last picture is a digital manipulation. Because the dies read backwards, it is awkward to read them.  This die must be from the Adirondacks. Dater dies were used in machines to validate tickets. The dater machines require a die. The dies usually have a location a and a number to help identify who stamped a ticket. All of the dies in this auction are from one collection.   Return to Auction Listing copyright Scott Czaja 2011
