Lot #157 - Boston & Maine Railroad - 6" TinTop Bellbottom
The frame has a ratchet down top to
secure the globe. The tin cap has some minor dents. The frame has been
cleaned. The patent date of Apr 24, 1883 can be seen in one picture. The
bell has a standard F. O. Dewey marking that was hard to photograph. The
font is solid and the brass burner is a high top beehive model. The Globe is
a very nice 6" barrel shape with a nice B&MRR casting. Somebody
enlarged some of the vent holes. Very Good condition.
