Lot #103 - Framed Photograph of Brooks Locomotive Works

Buffalo Creek Railway Switcher #6

Railroad Buffalo Creek
Size 24" by 21"
Condition very good

Interesting Brooks build that has an enclosed cab (after all, it's Buffalo). The Buffalo Creek was owned by the Lehigh Valley and the Erie and its purpose was to interchange with the New York Central in Buffalo. At some point this photo was professionally framed in Albany. The frame is a rough barn board that looks like pine. The frame measures 24" by 21" and the image measures 16 1/2" by 10 1/2". Brooks builder's photos are not that common. Brooks was based in Dunkirk, New York. Very Good condition.
