Lot #73 - Boston & Maine - Silver flatwear
This pattern of silver was ordered in
1947 for the last dining cars used on the Boston & Maine. There was pent
up demand for Post War equipment. The B&M in italics is known to be on
holloware with a 1947 date code. The flat wear does not come with a date
code. It is standard to have just "B&M" and not "B&MRR"
on this post war silver pattern. The bouillion spoon has some scratches
around its girth. The Demitasse spoon is excellent.
