Lot #45 - 3 New York City Dater Dies

 

arl59 Railroad New York Central  Size standard  Condition vg /excellent This is a group of 3 brass dater machine dies from New York City. They vary a bit in condition and they have not been cleaned. The last picture is a digital manipulation. Because the dies read backwards, it is awkward to read them. This group includes:  (1) 30 Church Street, NY #5  (2) 125th St Union Station #2  (3) 125th St Union Station #6 Dater dies were used in machines to validate tickets. The dater machines require a die.
