Lot #22 - Long Island RR - Marker Lamp / Lantern
Long Island Railroad Adlake tail marker lantern with red etched LIRR globe - This short globe (Kero style 3" tall) lantern is unusual. It has an applied mounting bracket so that it could be used as a tail marker. The lantern is a Kero #250 model. It has its correct Kero #250 burner on a Kero pot.
It also has a serial number of "10834" stamped in the small panel provided
on the lid. The Red etched globe has numerous small chips from the top and bottom. No real damage, just hard service use. This lantern definitely needs a better cleaning.
